Mixed into the stages are different groups of fabulous people who play a crucial role in producing magnificent books that all become bestselling masterpieces. Book Production Phases

v1. Rough Draft – published on https://ReamStories.com/lartra (link is external) one chapter at a time to Bronze Level subscribers or higher.
v2. Developmental Editorial Read (professional editor) – plot, pacing, characters, dialog, etc.
v3. Line Edit Pass (professional editor) – grammar, word choice, adverb smashing, etc.
v4. Rough Readers (toughest of the tough elite team) – feedback for story improvements, pacing, etc.
v5. Editorial Proof Read Pass (professional editor) – second line edit pass
v6. Alpha Squad (elite team list) – only the best of the best proofreaders let no typo survive!
v7. Bronze Level Supporters – Get access to the publication ready ebook at least 2 weeks before release
v8. Release Announcement on https://ReamStories.com/lartra (link is external) to ALL members and followers then to a few social media sites a few days before release – Public Sales

Elite Star Seekers

Rough Readers – these are Bronze level or higher subscribers on https://ReamStories.com/lartra (link is external) and see the draft of my books as published which is updated and adjusted live.
The reward for being a Rough Reader is that you have lots of input to the coming books, you may use/wear the Rough Reader badge, and final you get the final eBook you worked on via an Amazon gift purchase when it is released. Rough Readers who stand out in contributions, comments, or community support have their names listed on my website.
Alpha Squad – The special forces of typo hunters! Alpha Squad members receive the the sixth near publication version of my books as EPUB files and usually have less than ten days to finish reading the book while looking for clarity and flow issues – and some light line editing items.
The reward for being a Alpha Squad member is that you have the satisfaction of keeping all our books top quality, your name listed on my website, you may use/wear the Alpha Squad badge, and final you get the final eBook you worked on via an Amazon gift purchase when it is released.
Shadow Cabinet – (by invitation only) The Shadow Cabinet has access to any and all version of my books, past, present, and future. They have all provided and continue to provide incredible support for my books. Some items I can reveal about what the members have done in the past are: helping with sales by asking the bookstores and libraries in their area to carry my books, buying my books even though they get them for free, jumping in when things have gone totally wrong with some aspect of publications and helped put things back on track. I can’t thank them enough and they truly are the elite of the elite.

The rewards for being on the Shadow Cabinet are mysterious at best. Of course, they have total access to me via email, Facebook, and Twitter. For the members of this group that desire it I list them as supporters. When we end up at the same science-fiction / fantasy / gaming conference or if they visit the Seattle area I take them out for savory foods and tasty beverages.
